What pascha*pr's Clients' Say
Current & Past
I have worked with great people and organisations whilst running pascha*pr, from international organisations like the international development charity VSO, bluechip hotel chain Premier Inn through to popular published true crime writer Tom Wood, the Scottish Licensed Trade Association and award-winning bar & restaurant The Mercat Grill.
Here's what some of my clients, past & present - have to say about pascha*pr's services.
The Scottish Licensed Trade Association (SLTA)
Monthly Broadcast PR Support - To Get This Leading Hospitality Organisation's Views onto TV & Radio News
The Scottish Licensed Trade Association represents the interests of the independent on-trade licensed sector in Scotland. Within its membership there are pubs, bars, hotels, restaurants and late-night premises.
The SLTA's managing director, Colin Wilkinson said: "With regard to promoting the SLTA’s work we engaged the services of Pascha PR in April ’21 to extend the Association’s coverage further into the broadcast media. This has been extremely successful with Claire Scott developing a wide range of stories and highlighting the concerns of our sector to a range of TV and radio stations. The level of exposure gained has been excellent and constant during the time Claire has provided her PR services to us. The SLTA continues to be the dominant voice on TV, radio and the press when it comes to issues affecting Scotland’s on-trade.
"As a person, Claire is determined, reliable and very focused on tasks at hand. Her tenacious attitude to see the job done is admirable and she goes above and beyond her remit to see things through. Claire has also been involved in media training for several of our representatives, which has been invaluable in improving their media communication skills.
"Both I personally and the SLTA have no hesitation in recommending the services provided by Claire and Pascha PR."
The Mercat Grill - An Award-Winning Bar & Restaurant in East Lothian

She has always been there to support my operation and goes well above and beyond when delivering her professional services.
"I would say she treats my business with the complete dedication, effort and enthusiasm– as if it’s her own! Claire brings her corporate experience, knowledge and extensive skills in PR, marketing and social media and injected these into my business. I will still be working with Claire for at least another 12 years!"
The Chocolatarium - A Unique Tour of Chocolate in Edinburgh
PR Campaign to Help Launch The Chocolatarium in Edinburgh
Owner of The Chocolatarium, Jenny McLay said:"We were delighted with the fantastic coverage that Claire managed to obtain for the Chocolatarium. She crafted great press releases that obviously got attention and resulted in pieces in the local, national and industry press.
"There were clear spikes in website traffic as a result and we received numerous comments from visitors that they had first heard about us through these channels.
"Claire is always professional, goes the extra mile and was a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process."
Peter Ritchie - Author

Peter commented: "I have worked with Claire now for several years after she was recommended by a local businessman and friend. In that time, I’ve come to regard her as a true professional and most importantly someone who really wants success for her clients. In my own case she has been the lynchpin in turning me from what was no more than a hobby in self-publishing to a widely read author with a fine publishing company.
"Claire’s energy is boundless and she makes things happen which is something I could never have done myself. I would go as far to say that without her guidance, ideas and optimism I would not have written the number of books I have.
"I regard her now as a friend and would recommend her to anyone looking to boost their business or promote their ideas."
Tom Wood - Author & Columnist

"I now have a good publisher for my book and my eye-catching website is up and running. Claire delivered everything she promised - a pleasure to work with and I will continue to use her services and would highly recommend her for any PR or communications challenges."
VSO - Global International Development Charity
PR Projects in Scotland to Support VSO's London Media Team
Catherine Raynor, now Director of Mile 91, took on pascha*pr when she worked as Head of Communication for the global, international development charity, VSO.
She said: "VSO has used pascha*pr on a number of occasions to support profile-raising activities in Scotland. They have an impressive knowledge of the Scottish media landscape, an extensive contact book and the creative flair to turn our key messages into stories the media wants to run. As a result of a volunteer recruitment campaign they handled for us we received the highest number of volunteer enquiries from Scotland in five years. The results speak for themselves and I have no hesitation in recommending them."
Premier Inn - UK's Largest Hotel Chain
PR for Hotel Relaunch & Event
Mike Clarke, now a District Manager for Five Guys Scotland was a former manager at the Premier Inn, when the company engaged the services of pascha*pr.
Mike Clarke said: "Claire worked with Premier Inn on two occasions. First project was to re-launch our hotel after a £1 million makeover and on the second occasion, pascha*pr organised a Family Fun Day and Charity Fire Walk. Both events were well thought through, organised and delivered to a world class standard. Right after our re-launch sales rose by 20%!"
